This was a night of firsts at the QuickLeft brewfest and hackfest. Beer was sponsored by Diebolt brewing and West Flanders Brewing.

My friend Ira and I brewed a beer and hacked within 3 hrs.

  1. For the brew it was our first attempt at using a hot plate (1500 watt) and it did get to a boil.
  2. For the hack it was our first attempt using firebase and angularjs.

Here are the recipes for both:

The hack

Timers to help keep track of steps in the brewing process. We wanted to be able to view the countdown on multiple devices. (Not completely working yet). But feel free to fork and contribute to our code.
