Thank you to Nick and Sendgrid for sponsoring hosting for the MailHops API. With over 200K hits a day MailHops API handles a lot of traffic and although the packets are small it needed help, so a big THANK YOU to SendGrid for bringing MailHops back online.

MailHops makes it easy to quickly see where a message came from. Allowing you to see the route that an email traveled to your inbox. Including the country of origin, how many hops it took and how many miles it traveled. Quickly see if it passed SPF and DKIM authentication and if the message hopped through a black listed server.

Currently I have developed a Thunderbird and Postbox plugin where you can see it working.

Bad Message
Or if the message failed a blacklist and came from a country you don’t normally get mail from.
